The city of Pleasanton is set in Tri-Valley, a region in the eastern San Francisco Bay area. Enjoy a scenic, 18-hole round of golf in the rolling hills of Callippe Preserve Golf Course. Tour the various Livermore Valley wineries including Wente Vineyards and Concannon Winery. Attend an event at the Alameda County Fairgrounds, a 270-acre facility, home to the annual Alameda County Fair and a multitude of trade shows and community events. Located in the grounds, the Pleasanton Fairgrounds Racetrack was built in 1858 and is the oldest one-mile horse racing track in the United States.
